Plan Licenses

Each plan is sold under a specific license tied to the tier you purchase:

• PDF Set grants a one-home build license — you may build one home from the plan.
• Full Build Set includes five printed sets, the PDF set, and editable CAD files, with a copyright release permitting modifications and unlimited printing for that build.

Reproducing, reselling, or building more than one home from a plan without the appropriate license is prohibited. ERA Design retains copyright ownership of all plans unless a copyright release is explicitly included in your purchase.

Building Code Compliance

Our plans are drawn to general residential construction standards, but codes vary by jurisdiction. It is your (or your builder's) responsibility to have plans reviewed by your local building department or a licensed engineer before permitting or construction, particularly for local wind, seismic, and snow load requirements.

Payment & Refunds

Payment is due in full at checkout. Because plan sets are digital or made-to-order goods, purchases are non-refundable once a digital set has been made available for download or a printed set has shipped. If you have concerns about a plan before purchasing, contact us — we're happy to answer questions first.

Custom Design Projects

Custom design engagements are scoped and quoted individually. Revisions beyond what's agreed in your project scope may incur additional fees, which we'll always discuss with you before proceeding.

Limitation of Liability

ERA Design is not liable for construction defects, code violations, or losses arising from modifications made to a plan after purchase, or from construction practices outside our control.
